Our Routes

What sets Cycleronda apart from other rental bike companies is that we specialise in unique cycling routes and we include these in your bike rental!. With our self-guided cycling routes and detailed maps you can set the pace and go for a day trip, a weekend cycling experience, or on a cycling adventure for a week or more. Whether you decide to bike or hike these routes, our information pack includes: invaluable information about the route, places to stay, services, and a map of the city and the area. You will also have the opportunity to buy alternative bicycle routes or maps that we have personally mapped out, for an outdoor adventure with a difference.

Bike Routes in the Serrania de Ronda

Our maps are easy to read, as we use numbered routes and colour codes. All of our cycling maps are clearly marked by indicators, with distances in kilometres, and each ride normally ranges from 30 to a maximum of 140 kilometres long.

Note: Along your route you’ll not find our own indicators (unfortunately), but you easily follow the road/village signs. Don’t rely so much on road numbers because those ones don’t always match with the map.

You can choose from a wide range of routes in any direction using Ronda as a base. But we can also offer weekly cycling tour packages that includes a cycling information pack with descriptions of the bike routes of your choice. With breathe taking views, and the sound of nature all around you, it will be a cycling experience that you'll never forget!

A few examples of our weekly cycling tours: One goes to the beautiful white villages in the North and West of Ronda or perhaps you can cycle to the far South of Ronda, as it has some spectacular roads in the Sierra de las Nieves Park. Another one, further West, covers other Natural Parks such as Los Alcornocales and The Park of Grazalema in the West with mostly spectacular nature and less, but still very famous, White Villages.

Or maybe you prefer to ride the Lakes and Natural Parks Tour in the East, which includes the surrounding area of Antequera with it’s spectacular El Torcal National Park.
For the adventure seeking cyclist, why not cycle in 3 to 5 days to Granada, where it’s posible to climb the highest road of Europe and reach the Sierra Nevada peak ¨Veleta¨ at 3.396 meters!
As you can see, there are plenty of Cycling Adventures around here!!!

If your eager to obtain your detailed bike route plans, we can either send them to you by email the moment your reserve your bike or when or when we hand over the bikes to you.

Custom Cycling Tours

This kind of cycling holiday is exactly what you've dreamt it to be like, a custom cycling tour exclusive to your needs or your groups needs. We can help you by making suggestions, and give you information about the area, accommodation or simply advise you where to go or roads and tracks to avoid. If you're looking for specific routes that you have heard of like the Via Verde in Olvera, bike delivery or luggage transfers, this can also be arranged when you reserve your rental bikes.

Note: we can’t book hotels for you, as we are no Travel Agent.
